I should never assume, but rather refer to the online river report BEFORE I go. They turned loose massive amounts of water at the power dam and the river was way high today. Lacked about 10 feet of being out of it's banks. Logs big as submarines drifting down the river. We fished cut croaker, and had one big hit. That was all. Water temp reached 55.5 degrees, and otherwise could have been a great day had it not been crazy high.

Thanks for the report, Bill. I was up that way; checked out Blue's, but the water was so high, and the debris floating like it is, so went a little further downstream, where I am a little more familiar with the waters. I will get back up there again pretty soon, I hope.

LOL You know the old saying, "a bad days fishin' is better than a good day's work". Well, that depends on how much money you coulda made working that day!! :)
