I went to the James in Big Island last night. Fishing was great, and I was the only one on the water. fished from 9:00 till 4:00 am and caught 9, 14, 18, and 20 # Flatheads on live gills and a 5.6# smallmouth on a buzzbait.

Not only do I appreciate your fishing report, but also the fact that you let the big ones go!:0a31:

Good going Chip. Were you back at Snowden or downstream from there?

Yes i was at Snowden, Just downstream from the island around all the boulders. In addition to all the flatties the bass fishing is great
and Ive caught 3 smallmouth over 6 pounds in 3 weeks. This year is the first year I,ve fished that area, I used to fish alot between Buchanan and Glasgow.
