Well now that they have ricky back they should(hopefully) be able to get something going good again on offense.I know there d is gonna be good they have had a great d these past couple years i felt that the main thing they were missing was a great QB if they can get that then they will have a hell of a team.JMHO

I am a huge viking fan, but every football fan should go to Lambeau field at least once in there life. I have been twice and the place is unbelivable. I got goose bumps when i walked into the place time and i must admit they have the best fans in the world. The first time i went was Viks vs packers, we bought our tickets from scalpers at $125.00 a piece, and being a viking fan the fans treated me like i was one of them so i can never say anything bad about packer fans. The only thing people in green bay care about is football and beer and i'm not sure in that order. Some friends want to go back this year, i suggested we go in december, one time i want to go when i have to break the ice in my beer to take a drink.

they also care about Cheese and Brauts .... :D
I live in PA BUT im still a CHEESEHEAD, LoL

Tristan .... there fun to play ....

you get points based on a players performance for that game ...
depending on how the scoring system works you can get alot of points ...

normally a league will consist of 10 to 12 guys ...

there are private leagues which can be more players or different scoring modifers ....
there are also public leagues where you take on other managers from around the world .... leagues can be ponit based or H2H (head to head) ....
to determine who is on your team they hold a draft .... this can be a LIVE DRAFT where the managers sit down in a chat forum and pick a person ...
or it can be done by AUTO DRAFT .... where you rank your players and the copmputer picks when its your turn .... the size of the roster (how many players you have ) is determined by the league commish you are in ...

the commish for a private league is another manager that started the league .... the commish for public leagues is yahoo itself ....

you normally play like 13 games for the year after 13 games they start the PLAYOFF ROUNDS .... to determine who will win the league ...
each week you take on a different oppenent until you have played everyone in the league at least once .... when you have played everyone you start back to the person you played the first week and go from there till the playoffs start .... if you make the playoffs you are seeded depending on the record for the season is where you are seeded at ....

a normal roster in yahoo publics consist of :

1 QB
3 WR
2 RB
1 TE
1 K
1 DEF

and 6 bench players ... to be used on the BYE weeks of your normal starters

you can also have indivdual defenders players these can be pretty fun to play as well ...

we have openings in a league that has BOC members here playing why dont you come in and play and see what fun it can be ....

league information to follow this post

hope this helps explain things

the easiest way to expalin it to you is to go to yahoo.com (the home page)

look in their banner for the SPORTS hyperlink ... click that

that will take you to yahoo SPORTS home page .... look across the header on this page for the FANTASY tab .... in the header .... click that

this will take you to all the FANTASY games available for yahoo at this time

click the link for fantasy football ... make sure its the FREE GAME and not the yahoo FANTASY FOOTBALL PLUS ....
agree to the terms on this page ....

enter the yahoo league ID # when promted and the password ...
(password must be in lowercase) ....

then choose a nicname for your team and follow the promts ...

once you have this all done your all set ...

Well, Gents Im gonna have to defy everyone because My team is The Cowboys.Win,lose or draw,I root 4 em.They been in as many or more SuperBowls than any team.I am also pulling for the Raiders this year, just because I have an ex schoolmate from childhood (Rickey Dudley)playing for them this year.He was with The Bucs last year and was on injured reserve for the whole season with severe ankle sprain, was relased as a free agent and resigned with Oakland. We both grew up back in East Texas.Well,Hope this is a great year for him,and the Cowboys. How about them panthers last night!!!Dont know if yall happen to see the Browns and the Panthers play but what a way to come back in the last mins of the game. I gave two thumbs up to Kris Weinke he had some trouble getting things rolling but stepped up in the end and won it for em. Im a Phin fan first and for most but the panthers is the home team have to root for them.
