Big flathead catfish from the Great Pee Dee

    LOL! NO kudos to me on this one except for the photography. I seem to be stuck in the 30s at this point, but like Mickey says: "it only takes one cast; my day will come!" :big_smile:

    <Time to get one of those Coffey Marketing scales. lol>

    I had been looking at those, but I've heard many folks say if you get a drop of water on the Coffey scales, they're history. I have said all along that when I catch a fish bigger than my net, I'll get a bigger net, and when I get a fish that exceeds my scales, I'll get new scales. Though Peg caught this one, it hit close enough to home for me to start thinking new net and scales! :wink: Heck, Peg has NO scales and NO net. :crazy:

    Man if yall would have got an accurate weight on him I believe that would have bumped me out of 1st Place in the BOC Hall of Fame.:wink:
