After a bit of a mid-summer hiatus, the big fish bite has started anew on the Tennessee River in Chattanooga. Scenic City Fishing Charters was on the water Friday, Saturday & Sunday with good fish everyday. Tops was a 31-lb. blue caught by 14-year-old Sterling Lehman out of Dickson, TN today. Sterling also tagged another 22-lb. blue and the Lehman's went home with a cooler-full of "eatin'-sized" fish as well. It's been three real good days on the water. The fish have moved a bit shallower... just about all the big fish were taken between 26 and 33 feet. Bait of choice has been chicken breast filets (but don't tell anyone).
