I finally got my buddy to email me these pictures. He caught this fish in April Fools day this year oddly enough. We didn't have a scale so we have no clue how big it is, what do you guys think? It was surely the fish of a lifetime and we weren't prepared for it:crazy: He caught it on a big piece of shad in about 25ft of water. I'm the one in the pictures, he couldn't hold it:smile2: There's one of him with it across his lap but he didn't send that one to me.

wow that blue looks old, looks like he was one of the original stock of the river, just didn't get as big as it shoud have. I would say its around 45 or so but its hard to tell. Congrats on the catch. Big blues keep us going back out.

It was really old. It had cataracts in it's eyes. That fish may be almost twice as old as I am, kinda crazy. That was the best day on the river we've ever had, we finally broke the 20lb mark we'd been sitting at all year with a 26 and then that one! You could have heard Britton yelling from 10 miles away when that thing hit the top:smile2: could probably hear me too!

That hump on his back was nuts! When Britton got him to the top after we stopped freaking out that was one of the first things I noticed was how bowed up he was. Maybe it was b/c it was such an old fish, I dunno?
