Caught this big blue out of a downtown Houston bayou today. Wish I would have measured or weighed him.

I caught him on a big shad head on a Carolina rig. I got a couple runs before he took it and figured it was a few gator gar. The next run I had was him. Fight didn’t last too long because I had to winch him in so he wouldn’t get stuck in a shopping cart or other junk in the bayou

Thanks for the follow up story. I have lost fish in a lot of structure but I don’t know that it was ever a shopping cart - but hey - whatever it takes!
