    I know I posted this twice but this section is more appropriate..

    hey fellow cape fear river fisherman, went fishing this past weekend below lock and dam 2. Beware my anchor is still there! After several attempts in every direction to free the bugger we decided to cut the line. We got as close as we could to it with the boat, pulled the anchor line as tight as we could get it, I reached down in the water as far as I could and cut the line.

    My anchor line was 5/8 braided line and had alot of stretch to it, so I'm guessing... but its probably 3-5' below the surface.

    The anchor and line are almost dead center of the river and about 20 yds below the orange no boat signs.
