    I've received several different forums of spoof mail but this is a new one.

    Normally Gmail flags all spoof mail with a red caution banner and sends it to the Spam folder but this one got by.

    It says I was charged for a 42 " Plasm TV and that if I don't agree to the charge to click on "Agree or Cancel" link. I didn't click on it for I'm sure the link would have asked for my password... The scam is to get your password when you click on the link to disagree.

    It also shows an incorrect shipping address.

    It is very easy to ID as spoof:

    1. Dear member... Real mail from Paypal would have had my complete name.

    2. Paypal doesn't send this type forum after making a purchase through Paypal. They use a completely different forum.

    I sent it on to spoof@paypal.

    Below is screen shots of the spoof.

    You think it would be easier to get a real job than to try to steal someone's money and risk going to jail not to mention ruining the rest of your life with a bad rep

    Dayton;

    I recieved the same identical spoof mail from Ebay. I did the same, I forwarded it to spoof@paypal also. These clowns are really trying to get you to log in to paypal on that phoney link. Mine read identical along with the Atlanta shipping address. LOL

    BTW, I read the PM from you and now understand what you were saying about SP1 and 2.

    Thanks;

    Gene

    "Paypal" has been sending me email on and off for the last year. The heading is always the same "There is a problem with your account"
    I'll say there is, I don't have a Paypal account!!!...W

    I get Pay Pal scams almost every day! If you go to the real Pay Pal you can find out real fast if it is true or not!
