Best way to rig your hook?

    Just wondered whats the best way to rig your hook for cats ive heard of a swivvel but dont quit understand it when fishing i usually just have a hook whats the best?

    When people here refer to a swivel I believe most are talking about a barrel swivel. I prefer the two ended swivel, while some like the three way swivel. For a two way you place your egg sinker are no roll on your line, then a bead if you like, then tie one end of swivel to the line on. to the other end of the swivel you tie on a piece of line about 12-18 inches long (your choice) and tie your hook to that. I hope this has helped you some.

    a swivel keeps your line from twisting and posably breaking when that big ol cat starts rolling tryin to get loose.

    i agree with benji. thats the way that i do it to. but i have never used the three way swivels
