My first this year,,Finally a 33# blue caught on a 4" bluegill suspended at 5' in 12' water over a rock ledge..

The first good fish caught on one of my new rods and all it done was put a slight cup in the upper 3rd of the rod as the fish was at full run spooling line:big_smile:performed flawlessly. Line loaded the guides perfect, just as the rod rolled over the line followed completing a perfect double line, with the line and rod.

Great feeling It was on the bank in about 10 min, netted lay ed down and snap this pic and put her back in..Its cool when you see them swim back down..makes you feel good..

Nice blue! The water has been so high here that I haven't been able to do much fishin' on the Mississippi.

Heah Winston, Thanks man. I got her on the this Red one I completed awhile back. The rods are Super Strong , channels do not even challenge the action, and this 33# blue didn't do too much either. Just playing with them now Bro,I need to catch a bigger fish:smile2:somewhere in the 40-80# range to really see..LOL.. But from what I've seen so far That will not be a problem:wink:

I fish with all my rods now, and theres nothing like catching fish using your own custom rods. Kenny
