ok i wanna know, what is youre favorite monofiliment line brands, personaly i prefer stren
I'm a berkly guy Myself
I like Berkly as well but I have got to where I use braided more:cool2:
I like Stren, Trilene, and Big Game mono line. If I were to pick one it would be Stren.
Both Berkly and Stren are good lines. I like Silver Thread and Ande also. I've a Penn 209 spooled with Stren High Impact hi vis green, 30 lb test. Seems to lie flat without much coiling. Most of my reels have Big Game on them, but prefer Trilene in 10 lb test.
I Prefer The Berkley Big Game.
I am split between two Cajun Red Advantage and High Seas Red Devil. But will be trying the Solar Green soon
I like the Berkley Big Game.
Currently, I'm using Silver Thread Excalibur (although, i know it's not entirely mono) on most of my reels. But, I have Berkley Big Game in the heavier test pound lines spooled on my baitcasters and level line reels. Ande is another high quality line that I like.
I also have braided lines for jigging in deeper waters.
BTW - for those that may not be aware, Berkley and Stren are now owned by the same company - Pure Fishing, which also owns Abu Garcia and Fenwick.
Dupont owns the Stren name, its licensed to Berkley. For a while, Remington was licensed also. I'm not sure that Trilene/Big Game are made at the same plants as Stren.
All I use is salt water ande.
Maxima ultra green or the cameleon for light lines, I also like Trilene big game for 15- 25lb line, 30 lb and up I prefer P-Line.
  Ande premium 30-40lb test made in germany more world records than any other line
My favorites are the Berkly big game, for cats and cajun red for trout fishing.
trilene big game or trilene big cat in hi-vis green, i have big cat spooled on one reel and big game spooled on two. its pretty much the same stuff price, stiffness, and quality wise. only difference is the big cat comes on a bigger spool in a cool looking bright green box and the big game comes on a little compact spool which i like better since it fits right next to the boxes in my tackle bag:tounge_out:
Anyone else use the Spiderwire XXX Super Mono? I like it on all my spinning rods.
Sufix Seige is my favorite line. Casts well, great abrasion resistance and very good uv resistance too.
Big game. I also like Ande.
big game 20-40 pound test all the way!
