    Just kidding

But really, any time between now and Apr/May is very good. The colder the better in terms of dealing with pleasure boaters. If you wait until spring they will be thick.

We are thinking mid may. but have never fished there before. we are going for a week wed. thru wed. to avoid two weekends. Hope this make boat traffic less. We fish On Lake Champlain in New York mostly the southend wich is mostly a channel with pretty good boat traffic during the day so we fish mostly at nite. will this work down there?

It will definitely work. You may prefer it to daytime fishing by then.

    Camping or Hotel?
