The best Crappie lure i have used would have to be the roadrunner crappie thunder. I used one with a black body a chart. head and tail. I also got a couple bass along with the crappie i caught. The crappie magnet is also a good one.

winter time is 1/64 or 1/128 micro jigs, hand tied ultra chennel bodys with maribou or cdc tails . spring or fall 1/8 or 1/16 tube jigs. dead heat of summer medium shiners on slip corks drifted in main lake channels 18 to 30 ft deep.

I like using a Carppie Lure called a "Mini Jig" but I just got an order of "Crappie Magnets". I haven't got a chance to try them yet but I heard some nice things about them.

    Take it easy,

Yeah in the middle of the summer i use a lot of minnows. They seem to like them over anything else at that time.

It's hard to beat a plain old tube jig... 1/16th oz. or 1/32nd oz.

One of my favorite crappie/panfish lures is called a Charlie Bee made by the Slider company. I caught fish one right after the other with them. They go nuts when they see it

The Road Runner or a knock off called the Creek Runner. Color depending upon water color and how much the sun is shinnig. I also have begun tipping the jig with Berkley's Crappie bites. Not sure if they help but they are cheap :)
