i put 5 on my boat. at $12.99 each i love them. they hold rod tight. the more pressure on the rod tip the better they grip yet a quick straight up motion releases the rod. no forward motion required. any one else use them? they also remove flush so there is nothing to steal or snag clothing. fully adjustable up and down and side to side.

I made 2 little set ups for my boat.I got the holders out of cabelas,for about the same price.I usally put 6 out in the holders and then just lob a few off the back side with the clickers on

I use them and love them! (hint) everyone you buy comes with two different style mounts. If your boat is like mine I found a way to utilize both styles in different areas of my boat so with 6 holders I have 12 mounting positions!

not the best pic but the only one i have at the library at the moment. i on the bow have rails and the berkly has the rail mount too. got flush mounts in back.

How hard is it to mount the rod holder in a fiberglass boat? Do you need access underneath to add reinforcement? I would love to add some to my fiberglass boat but I'm unsure how difficult it would be because on the bow I have no access under the deck.
