I bought my second spool of this stuff for my wiper set up last night. I had absoluty no problems with it before, but this morning i went fishing and after every cast as I reached to close the bail the line would just shoot off the spool, and I mean like 5 or 6 feet of it. Anyway once got back I checked the box out again too see if you gotta do anything special to prevent this. It says as your spooling it up to check for twists; if twists occur turn spool over. That confused me but i figured it out, the line wrap around the reel the way it was wrapped around the spool. Anyway it's great stuff but you just have to put it on right. I guess it pays to read the directions.

Chancelor another thing you can do to help this problem is to close the bale with your hand and not the reel handle.

Depending on your terminal tackle (baits - lures) they can introduce twist into the line on retreives. Just something to consider as a cause.
