    Iron Silk VS Dura Tough

    I just bought 330yd spoolss of each of these lines. I would appreciate any feedback from you all,from your experience with them. Which one would you say is the tougher of the two. Thanks in advance. :wink:

    i always used trilene, i think mostly out of just not wanting to change brands. I will view the results of this topic and see if it is time to try stren?

    Rode iron silk for about a year. It ties a nice smooth knot. Only problem is that it broke prior to its Pound test ratein. Did some tests a few years back with DH. 40# test broke at about 30# of pressure. We didn't do it in a lab but we had a handle on what we did. :cool2:

    i have used iron silk on my ultralight spinning rod and i found that it tangles really easy, don't know if that helps but i will keep an eye on this thread
