Hello catfishermen,
Been years since my last post, but career had been pushing fishing out of the way.
I'll try not to get too much into it, but basically I need to replace my Berkley Reflex rod that was a gift to me. I had a house fire in October that took most of my possessions, including 14 years worth of fishing gear from me. My father gave me that rod when I was 7 years old (first rod, and it was my very favorite) and I absolutely need to replace it. I was able to find the last stainless line guide from that rod in the ashes of the fire, and intend to affix the old guide onto a new rod, if I can find a replacement rod!!
I believe mine was 7-8 feet long and medium heavy. It is a discontinued item and I haven't been able to find it. It is a white rod with reflective strips, foam handle, casting.
Condition is not that important to me, as my rod wasn't perfect. I will be willing to pay you well for it.
Thank you for your time, and feel free to post even if you might just have a "lead" on where to get a rod.
