I was watching OLN today and they were fishing the Red River in Canada. The 20#+ cats were nice but what got me were the rods they were useing. They were Berkley Glowstiks which light up on their own or with an internal battery powered LED. I just looked them up in my Cabela's catalogue and was suprised to find that they are only $35-$45. Does anyone here use them? If so, what do you thing about them.

I have never used them but I think they might be great for night fishing.

I have not used them, but someone posted on here about they don't light up at the tip. Seem thats where they should put the lights.

I like mine! It's still a virgin though. lol You don't actually need the lights as they glow in the dark very well. I know they are strong as I have pulled some mighty big logs in with it.lol
