I use Berkley big game 30 lb test. I have never used the cajun red but I heard alot of good things about it. I don't think you could go wrong with either. Good fishing!!

I've been using big game for years and though there was nothing better, now I have a couple reels set up with cajun red and once the memory is out of it it too is a great product but I don't think it cast quite as well, but it is plenty strong.

Big Game mostly for Catfishing, but Cajun Red is awesome line too.

I tried Cajun Red & I thought it wore out too quickly. I only used it about 5 times and it got brittle on me and seemed dried out. I pitched it and never used it again.

Now I use Big Game, just ordered another 2 spools from catfish connection.

i have one pole with big game and one with cajun red and they both are good line i think if i had to chose between one i would go with cajun becuase ive realed in some of the weirdest thing with it and big game it usally snaps on me.

I have 40lb big game on one reel, and 30lb cajun on another and i think that cajun is definately harder to break off of snags. It seems cajun red stretches a little more than big game though.

I use the cajun red 4lb. for trout fishing, and the big game for cats. I would like to try some 20 lb. for catfishing, but havent been able to find any. The 4lb. works very well, has good shock resistance.

Personally I like the Cajun Red. Didn't at first till the memory got worked out of it ,now it seems to do a real good job. Sure is smoe tough line to try to break if need be.Don't wrap it around your bare hand.use a stick or something. It hurts.

I've Been Using Sufix Line For Years, Both Salt & Freshwater(Different Formulas) With Great Success.

I Do Have One Spinner Lined With 20LB Cajun Red Lightning, It's Tough As Nails, I Don't Think That It Casts That Great But I Heard Many Of You Say That The Advantage Is Better. When That Wears Out, I'll Try Some Of It.

All Of The Suppliers Around Here Only Carry The Lightning, I Dunno Why :confused2:

Locally, Cajun Red Lightnin' is available at Wal Mart and Sports Authority. I've yet to catch any fish on my reel with 20#, but the 6# Cajun Red Cast has worked well for trout. 5# is the largest fish I've caught using that line.
