I took a long time fisherman, but a first timer for drift fishing,Thursday to Dillion. We put eleven in the boat between 12:15 and 3:30.Not a great day but a good day.All channels, largest was 8 pounds even with rest scattered between 2-2 and 1/4 and 6 pounds.Shad was the ticket again with plenty to be had about anywhere in the lake.I have another convert to drift fishing. It seems most,or a lot of at least, who have not drift fished are really surprised at the action, the quality of fish caught and also the numbers you can put in the boat if its a day with a nice breeze.Hey it's a lot of fun-later.Good fishing and be safe.

Glad to see you had a nice day out there. I drift fish that lake quite a bit myself. Maybe we'll meet up sometime.
