I like the clicker the best but I still use some jingle bells on some rods that I have that don't have clickers on them.

in some situations I use both, but the clicker is my dominant bite indicator

the reason i ask this guys is because some of the larger baits i use i have to use a clicker otherwise the bell would be ringing all night but other times i think a bell would be better for smaller less active baits when the fish are finicky

Good point! I used to use a bell also but I stopped because the bigger baits would have that thing jingling for a long time. Now I just go with the clicker and the chem stick tips.

I don't have any reels with clickers yet, and I use bells once in a while.
I prefer to stare right at the tip of my rods all night. lol

I use clickers or watch the glow sticks. On my spinning reels I use nothing but glow sticks.

a clicker is the way to go,it makes it much easier to judge a bite or a drag from the current
