i bought some beejay catfish bait....
is this stuff anygood..
In one word, YES!
Have used it for years with excellent success. Just keep it cool during the dayr it gets to soft to stay on the hook.
Let us know how it works out for you.
Never used it.. Let us know how it works.. I've always used Sonny's, but recently been trying DK punch bait..
ill let u guys know how it works.....
hoping to try it soon
i just bought some and im plannin on tryin it very soon...i've been wantin to try this and danny kings......
It's the only catfish bait I'll use other than shad. I grew up using it, it's all my dad ever used and we've both caught scads of fish on it.
Never caught a thing on Danny King's but Bee-Jay *always* performs. You won't catch anything huge (no more so than you'll catch on any stink bait) but if there are channel cats in the area, you'll catch them.
You may need to keep it in a cooler so it stays a little bit stiffer. Also use the treble hook with a spring in the middle of it.
When I lived in Illinois I used BeeJay all the time and it worked good. I can not find it here in Louisiana. I have switched to Danny Kings and think that it is much better. It stays on the hook better and it catches fish when nothing else will work.
I've had okay results with BeeJay. However, I prefer Sonny's or Geno's.
Ive used beejays before and ive used DKs I dont care for either my dad came up with his own stinkbait he calls Bells of Hell Stinkbait been makeing it for years and pretty much all ill use PM me if you would like the link to his site with the recipe.
