Dose this work for cats as well as chicken liver, or at all for that matter
Years ago when I was single I used Beef liver, couldn't never manage to get chicken livers to stay on but beef liver I could! I caught em left and right. Nothing huge but some dandy fryers my opinion is it definitely works!
We use them alot. The large fish go for them to. They stay on your hook better then the livers.
Big G said he throws a big gob of livers out with out any weight! I would presume you could do the same with a big blob of beef Liver!Big G if It's not you please correct me and I apologize in advance---------Sister Pat:big_smile:
I used it alot when I was growing up and, it works great for smaller fish. It stays on the hook real good. I have caught as many as three fish on one bait.
This is good info, cuz the closest grocry store dosnt have chicken liver, just beef, next time ill pick some up
I used to cut mine in small 1/2in strips and hook it like worms.
one day usin beef liver we caught over 30 channel cat....threw em all back the limit was only 2 and didnt feel like cleanin em anyway
I have used them in one of the local pay lakes here and I did pretty well with them. They were getting bit consistantly and they stay on the hook so much better than chicken livers do. Good stuff!
I like it better than chicken liver, works well with channels.
Use it here also !!!! Try pork liver if you can find it. It is even tougher !!!! Good Luck !!
Deer liver works also if you know a deer hunter !!!!
