I would like to know who uses beef hearts, and do you use them like they are or add to them(like garlic powder)? Also how big of chunks do you cut them up?I heard they are good cat bait and want to try some this weekend. Thanks in advance!!!

i have used them before on trotlines and rod and reel
they are OK for cutbait, seems like a better slowbite bait than rod and reel
    i cut them into 1/2" x 2" strips
i think i caught 8 or 9 big channels last spring on one trotline with hearts during one running
i used for rod and reel and caught 3 that same weekend, where with shad i caught 15 blues
