Beaver Dams?

    The river where I often fish has a couple of beaver dams in it. Would a shovelhead use this as a structure to lay under?

    Most Certainly...I have caught several flatheads around beaver dams.

    i would not hesitate to fish it. the only bad thing about them is that turtle like them too. good luck and let us know how you do.

    I would say that would be an awesome place to drop a line or two with a lively gill on it.

    back before i was thought of my uncle and his brother and cousins went noodling and used a dip net and caught around 15-20 channel cat and around 9 or 10 largemouth bass in the river right in a beaver dam
