Went down to the Tn river last night and caught a ton of fish, had this one hit and knew it was a good one. I ended up fighting this fish for 1hr 50 mins. Why he fought for so long I can't figure out. I have brought up many 50lbers and had them in the boat in under 15 mins. He would spool me and I'd get him up and then he'd spool me again. I hope my scale wasn't off cause he looked around 85 to me and fought like it too.

That's a good blue, it's hard to relate the fish with her's and mine due to not knowing how tall she is, but maybe my scale isn't that off , just doesn't make sense why he fought for almost 2 hrs. Like I said I have boated a ton off decent fish in under 15 mins, maybe it was just a really heathly fish.

    Thats a NICE fish buddy!!!!

Hard for us to judge from a pic on the size. They start looking pretty porked out at that weight so I'd say it's close. Check your buddy's scale against a known weight and see what it reads.

    Congrats on the great PB!!!!
