Bass Pro Sale

    Just recieved a Bass Pro sale Flyer in the mail and they have 309 Penn reels on a rod for $69.00. Not bad, if you don't like the rod just throw it away and you still have a good reel, at a good price.

    You can buy a Penn 309 on ebay for $25-$40. If your going to spend $69 you might aswell buy a reel that will cast. I've owned multiple a 209 and a 309 and could never cast them. Lots of backlashes. Since switching to Penn Gti 320's I've never had a problem.

    Just got yourself some ABU 5600 or 6500 and you will never need anything more.

    Check other places before you buy, just because its in the sale flyer doesnt mean its on sale.

    Left work 2 hours early today :) to be able to be at BassPro for the start of the Moonlight Madness sale good only today from 5pm to 11pm.

    I did my part to stimulate the local economy!
