Had a long, hard day on the water with Wilson Burton and Greg Cole, the Manager of the Bass Pro Shop in Nashville, Tenn. Greg (in the blue shirt) is a hardcore Dale Hollow smallmouth fisherman, but says he has a newfound appreciation for Tennessee River Catfish. We boated around 20 fish, the biggest was 28 lbs. There were sad faces in the boat , especially mine . on FOUR occasions when we had BIG fish break off. I've never had a problem with folks breaking off on big fish but I got a terrible taste of it today. But as you can see, I think they still left happy.

Nothing like converting a (smallmouth) bass fisherman:smile2: Sorry to hear about the four break aways. It sure is a saddening feeling when you hook what you know is a nice sized fish only to have it break off. Sure makes for some great stories about the ones that got away. Break or not how could anyone leave unhappy with what you all pulled out?

Yes He has to be a good guide. LOL Look what happened when he took Willard out fishing.. Yes he caught fish. So that has to show you how good the man is.
Also I bet Tellico can even catch fish with him. And not run around in circles. HEhE
    Devil made me do it..:hell_boy:
