I was out last Saturday, I am leaving tomorrow again and staying for the weekend.

Last week I caught plenty of bait (gills and carp), including a nearly 4 pound carp on 4 lb test, and even a baby flat on a worm when I was after gills, but no big fish.

My buddy ditched me to go fishing with his wife (what was he thinking!?!?!??!?!) and he caught a 23lb flat, so hopefully I can catch some big fish this weekend.

    I'm getting the fever. :dribble:

    James,
How did you do last weekend? Has the water come down any?

No big cats last weekend. The water is down a bit, but not a significant amount (3 feet maybe?)

3 feet is a good thing, I wonder if we should be monitoring Horseshoe. Before long the temp will creep up and heck or high water it will be Flattie season nice and thick. It wont take us long to find them as long as they're feeding.
