I got a chance to go to Bartlett Lake for a few days. It was a blast. Caught 5 Flatheads. 39lbs, 35 lbs, 17 lbs, 14 lbs, 8 lbs and a 10 lb Channel. All were caught on live bream. All were cpr'd. I was worried about the 35lbr because it was bleeding alot from the lip. I kept it in the box for a few hours and when i checked on it, it about ripped my hand off. So i went ahead and released it too. All swam off strong. I can't wait to get out again.

    8 lbs

Not the best pics but i was alone. I didn't get a pic of the Channel. He horned my finger and serated the back of another. At that point it was either release him or stomp on him. I realeased him too.

Bream are Bluegills, Green Sunfish and such. I just use it as a general term because there are so many kinds. I used Bluegill, Green Sunfish and Punkin Seeds. Caught the two biggest ones on Green Sunfish about 8" long. All but the 8 lbr were between midnight and 4 am. The 8lbr was actually at high noon. I'm just gald i caught fish. Even though i been having a hard time at Roosie all year, i still felt like i was taking a gamble spending my vacation at Bartlett instead of Roosie. Probably as high as 95% of my fish over 30lbs have come from Roosie and i have fished Bartlett way more since it is so close to my house. Who'da thunk it? LOL I'm just glad i caught Flatheads. After seeing you pull out a few bigguns i thought i'd try there. Thanks!!!! I couldn't sleep for nothing last night, i am soooo anxious to go back and i can hear the Flatheads calling me. To bad i have to wait a whole nother week.

Thanks for the kind words and Rep everyone. I love catching as opposed to fishing. :smile2: It has been along time since i could just get away and live outside for four days. The wildlife, the mountains, the water and the solem times were awesome. Sure beats being at the Factory.

Thanks for the post Travis... I'll have to put Roosi on my list of where to fish when I make the "big trip" into AZ.... got to plan it for maybe next year, as I'll be on the Colorado at Yuma next week, and then its up to the Cal Delta......How's the fishing on them lakes in Nov....like during Thanksgiving time????
