Barbless Hooks

    I'm not sure what the rules are in and around the rest of N America, but here we have to use barbless hooks. This tends to create a problem keeping bait on the hook , especially worms. What I do is take a batch of rubber bands alon, preferably the 1/4" wide ones. After the bait is loaded on the hook, follow by pushing a 1/4 X 1/4 " piece of the rubber band over the point of the hook up the shaft to where ever you want the size of bait load to stay.Clear as mud to me ...hope anyone else having to fish barbless understands...if not email me and I'll send a sketch.
