Hey, im new around here and dont know many catfishing spots, i live in springfield and have only fished the LMR nad CJ brown for cats. Are there any good places to get a stringer of eaters within say an hour or 2 of springfield? Thanks. Also i have no boat.

You may want to try a local farm pound for the eaters or a state park.

i don't know of any i would eat in these parts unless it's from a farm pond and you know what kind of drain off goes into it. I fish the gmr more times than not i have seen trash to toilet set float down the river so you won't catch me eating anything out of that river now it might be better up by dink or salimond
