I spent a couple of hours today riding my bicycle around the loop trail at Henricus Park/Dutch Gap Conservation Area scouting new bank fishing spots. There seems to be a couple of likely spots. Does anyone have first hand epxerience with that area from the bank? If so are you willing to share a few spots? If not I will try trial and error over the next few weeks and let you know what I discover. Here's the link to the map I found of the trial.

Click on the link for Land Trail Map.

I did see two deer and heard another. A good day in the woods/on the river.

This isn't on the main channel of the river we've talked about, but the old river channel that runs back to the cooling discharge for the power plant. It's about a five mile loop.

That area is actually the entrance to the barge pit and there are some good spots by the bird houses
