Hey guys, I dont post a whole lot, but i do come here once in a while. I normally bank fish down by Anderson Ferry for cats etc. Lately I could use a change of environment. Anyone have any ideas of where else I could bank fish? I was thinking of down near riverboat row at the mouth of the licking. Anyone have some suggestions on where I could do some bank fishing with some decent results on the Kentucky side of the Ohio?

if your ever in the louisville area you should go the fossil bed at the falls of the ohio its one of my favorite spot ever ive caught three 50s and a whole bunch of 20 to 25 pounders skipjacks are a must as well as the biggest live blue gills you can get your hands on for smaller 5 to 10 pounders night crawlers and livers work well but i wouldnt go there without at least 30 or 40 lbs test line cause there is alot of real nasty snags so if your ever in the area and want to hook up with some big cats from the bank shoot me a message and ill give you all of the fine details about the area

Hey Atrophius,

I've never fished riverboat row, but have fished a tad further south toward Burlington. I've had some success, largest was 22lb blue. I also believe you can get into the area down by indiana where the casinos are on the KY side. The Licking river tends to do well when the current isn't a mess, but I stay away becasue more often than not it's a gar.

I need a change too. I've not done much river fishing, and the only things that have been biting at the pay lakes is mosquitos.
