    6am-9pm still.

Aaron and I were just there. I caught 2 of my personal best today.

    11lb channel cat
    7lb Blue Cat

Today the big cats wanted blue gill... the small cats wanted shad. Was weird like that.

Couldn't catch a bluegill with a castnet to save my life today.. caught ton of shad though! Aaron fished for bluegill while I threw the net.. was working pretty good.

Congrats on your 2 new PB's. Glad you had a good time. I do have to ask: what the heck were you doing in the front of the boat? At least 3 times I heard something that sounded like a cordless screwdriver:confused2: You brag about your new PB's here, but you hold out secrets from the rest of the group. What on earth were you doing up there?:smile2:

I already told you... *censored*

I could go back tomorrow and just bank fish just for the sake of fishing. LOL But it is 11pm now, i know my tune will change when it comes morning!

2 days in a row of bright and early is tooooo much. I need a day to sleep my butt off. LOL

I hear ya. I've had some good days bank fishing Baldwin. The boat ramp can be good, as well as down in the hot water corner.

    Kevin,

We probably caught 8 decent cats between 4 and 11 pounds, a combination of channels and blues. There were a few dink channels and one drum (guess who caught that one? Hint - it wasn't me!) :smile2:

We would have stayed the rest of the day, but the waves started picking up and I had to go with my wife to a party that evening. We called it quits around 2 or so. We drifted on the north side, more or less in line with our secret landmark

Hope to go again in 2 weeks. If you get a chance to go, catch a big un!

Sorry about not getting back to you earlier - I just saw your post. Hours at Baldwin are:
    January 1 - February 15: 8 AM - 4 PM
    February 16 - April 15: 6 AM - 7 PM
    April 16 - October 31: 6 AM - 9 PM
    November 1 - December 31: 8 AM - 4 PM.

I believe they are also closed on New Years Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
