Got my bait tank finished tonight. The tank is from tractor supply 100 gallons using a pool pump for filter. I also added a air supply that can run 5 airstones. The bottom of the tank has an inch and a quarter threaded hole just attached a connector and a little piece of pipe to attach to pump. Drilled a hole in center front of tank attached hose and used a T and piped out the side and drilled 2 more holes on sides to support pipe and capped the ends. I drilled some holes in the pipe to circulate the water. Pretty basic set up hope it works to keep bait alive. Some pics attached.

I wish I was mechanically inclined to make something like that.

That's why I just use my 60 gallon aquarium as a bait tank.

Looks good Mark. I have something similar but used a 40 Gallon plastic drum that had fruit juice in it originally. Let me know how the pool filter works. I've been using a filter made for a 50 gallon aquarium. The bluegills muddy it up pretty fast.

I thought about using one of those but I have a 55 gallon tank in the house and cant seem to keep it clean. Had one small problem with tank so far had some chubs in it that got stuck in the hole for the vaccum end of the pump. Boy were those fish stuck in there had to rip them out. So I just set half of a minniw trap in front of the hole so that dont happen again.

Shawn I got the pump from my daughters pool. I looked online for a new one for the pool and they are about 40 dollars.
