finely got off my butt and made a bait tank it is set up in the basement so keeping it cool in the hot summer will be easy and keeping it from freezing in the winter as well i made it out of a old chest freezer that was in the basement when i got the house had a old aquereum power pump filter i made a big filter to sit under it and run the pipe down in it so it would suck the water thrue it and filter it also put two big air stones in i plan on getting a power head that will move a lot of water and run my filter with it it will do a better job than what i have now but this is a start few pics take a peak

What kind of bait are you keeping? Everyone always told me that, shad needed well rounded corners. Its hard to tell from the pics, but they look to be square. Looks like a nice setup and should keep bait really cool. Keep us posted with updates.

Yep, shad are a pain in the butt. It is much easier now that I got a 40gal Super Bait Tank II. My old homemade 30 gal worked ok, but nothing to brag about.
