Everyone I need some ideas on filtration. I've got a 50 gallon barrel with about 40 blue gill inside and need a cheap way for cleaning the water. I have an aerator in the tank but the waters getting a little cloudy. Any Ideas?

For the best, get a biofilter from a local pet store. It does take some time to seed the bacteria, but you can speed-up the process by buying starter bacteria.

I ended up buying a 130 gph pond pump and have it running in a jug full of old t shirts. Works ok for the time being.
