I'm in school at Mizzou and I'll be headed back soon. I was thinking about takin my poles back with me...does anyone know of a good bait and tackle shop besides bass pro or wal-mart? Also, what are some good spots to bank fish around columbia? Been goin to MU for 3 years now, but never fished up there...:confused2:

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

Daniel, you have some great fishing all around your area. There’s the Missouri with several public accesses, as well as my personal favorite the Lamine River. For lakes theres Little Dixie and several conservation lakes just north of Columbia. You can’t beat tombstone tackle, it’s by far in my opinion the best equipped tackle shop for cat fishing in the entire state. Here’s the # 573 874 2277... Check it out and enjoy.

Michael, THanks a lot for your input. Troy, MO huh? My brother just started a new job in Warrenton and I got a buddy who lives in Elsberry. I'm sure you know of these towns pretty well. Small world, huh? Anyways, thanks again!
