I have read many post of folks talking about chubs and skipjack. I tried to research it on the internet and found out that a skipjack is a type of herring. Is skipjack and blueback the same species? Chubs I have no Idea.:confused2:

Skipjack and Blueback Herring are different species, but are very similar in appearance. Kind of like blue cat and a channel cat or a white crappie and a black crappie. Either way, both make good bait .
