Bait presentation

    I usually fish the River, so slip sinker, bead, barrel swivel, and 18" leader is how I usually rig up my pole. I think the swivel helps the line to not get twisted. What are some other ways you all rig up your cat poles?

    A carolina rig is just what you described. For my money the best there is in most conditions. Try a pin float on your leader to keep the bait up off the bottom. It will improve your hook up ratio.
