Bait Help

    Thanks for the help catching bait tonight, still had to mow when I got home(per wifey). Good to meet you hope to see you tomorrow for some big ol HOGS!!!

    not a problem. good meetin ya. glad ya got to be there when Leeland let a gill take my rod & reel and relocate it to the bottom of the lake :smile2:

    At one point I was sure he was going to dive in to save a nice gill from jumping back in the lake, he saved it though.

    yeah, i had one come out of my hand and started floppin toward the edge of the dock. it got to about 6 in from the edge by the time i half dove and with a flashing right hand swatted it out of the air (over the water by this time) and back onto the dock where i dove again and belly flopped onto it. all that for a piece of bait that died by morn. im done tryin to keep bait overnight until dad & i can get the bait tank for the house done and runnin right.

    Jason I have been having real good luck this year keeping bait alive and all im using is "U2 Livewell treatment" which you can get at bass pro for about $13. I just add it to my big wheeled cooler and run a little bucket aerotor and I have kept two dozen good sized gills in there for 5 days in my garage already this year. I did change the water once in those 5 days though.
