The Ne winds finally died down and I headed to the lake. The flats were bitting this morning. Fishing up river I caught 6 flats, from 5-30lbs. Also lost 4 and snapped my line twice. Mostly using whiteperch. That 30lber put up a great fight. Hooked him on the smallest rod I had in the boat. Took awhile to get him in. Good day on the water. Water was at 65-66*. After day light they really turned on the water, by o730 they had all three turbines going again.

Nice day on the water. I'm going to have to try the flatheads some day, too. Do you drift or anchor for them? Or is it dependent on the conditions? Thanks and congrats.
