Well havent been on the Rock for a few weeks due to high water limiting my access to my favorite hole, but today I was able to make it and water is just about at normal pool. I new it was going to be a good day aftter the first line hit the water and didnt even hit bottom before it was hit. One line was baited with red worms and the other with smashed shinners. Put 6 channels and the bank and 1 flathead off the Red worms. The smashed shinners on the other hand netted an unexpected suprize, I didnt catch a single cat off the shinners, how every I was locked on a school of white bass, they tore the hell out of the dead shinners. There were 2 dozen dead shinners I picked up at the bait shop this morning, and only loss 5 bait fish with out bring in a white bass, doing the math that is 19 white bass in just over two hours. Biggest fish was just a hair over 2lbs, a white bass, the flathead was about 8 inches but man was he fat. That is a good sign of the the year to come.
