Well after near 4 months of reworking, remounting, repowering the "Jolly Green Giant" is back on the water. It's been an experience to say the least, but I now have a 115 Johnson mounted on it, center console done away with, new side consoles built. It increased the amount of usable fishing room, to the point that I could put a fold up cot in there and take a nap waiting to hear the drag screaming. I'll be back on Calaveras Saturday, those fish will probably hide from fear.

Great news about your boat, hope your trip to cally is a good one. We went out last week and got skunked although a friend caught four.

Since I got the different motor, it didn't make it too hard to decide to keep it. I got a chance to run it last Sunday. Had to make a hard decision about keep or sell but since I only got 23 more working days, I think I'm set up like I wanted it.

Here's some more current pics of "JGG". My son and I added 2 seats with storage up front and a storage box at the rear. It will have a cutting board mounted on top so you don't have to get down on your knees to slice up bait.

Thanks for the pictures.Been trying to figure out how I was wanting to set up my Jon Boat I just got. Those pics help. How wide is your boat across the bottom anyway? Congrads on a good looking set up.
