    I have seen the word Avatar many times; what does it mean???:confused2:

    Actually, your avatar has to be a picture of you, with your face being visible. They're not required, but are encouraged so that other members know who they're talking to. They're especially useful when you meet another member at a gathering or for a fishing trip.

    There is also another photo you can add to your profile that we call a profile picture. That can be anything from a picture of your family or pets to your latest catch or your boat, as long as it's in good taste and not copyrighted or anything.

    You're welcome to put more of your photos in our Member Gallery too. Each member can create their own page of photos to share and link to.
