I would like some info if anyone knows. I have a 1981 Mercury 9.8 maual start. Is there a way that I can get auxillary power from my motor to run a spot light? I know some motors come with two wires for this but mine doesn't. This way I wont have to keep recharging a battery at home. Does anyone know please help

you would have to get the electrical "guts" and flywheel from a 9.8 with electric start nd put them on yer mota then itl charge with about 5-6 amps
