Lately, it has gotten pretty tough (for me) to catch Flathead Catfish up the Chattahoochee River. I've heard several different opinions from the local guys. Some say the Catfish have gone upriver to the shoals, others think they went down into the upper part of West Point Lake. All I know is it's hard to catch them right now. Any helpful hints would be greatly appreciated.

Paul, that's hard to figure. Should be a good month for Flatheadin' coming up. I can't imagine they have made any big movements after spawn. My guess is that they are holding tight to structure and eating real good this time of the year. I have seen some of the nice Flats you catch there, I assume you were fishing structure. I would keep trying that a bit longer. Those fish confuse the heck out of me sometimes! Good luck.
