Figured I would take the kid fishing to catch a few bluegills for bait at the local park. My foster daughter out fished me 3 bluegills to my 2 on Sunday. Had a great time even though we didnt catch much.

Walt, the main thing is you were fishing with the young ones and had fun. And I am sure she is not letting you live it down that she out fished you. LOL

Sounds like you all had a great time. Last year when we were there we saw a bunch of bass and gills and also saw a bunch of shad swarming. Too bad you can't cast net the shad there...:confused2::wink::smile2:

There are supposed to be some nice channels there also.
